Installation Instructions

Take YOUR VIBE with you wherever you go.

Vibe.Player installs on your smartphone like an app. Once installed, a Vibe.Player icon will appear on your phone’s Home Screen, so you can open YOUR VIBE directly whenever you want to listen — without having to visit the website every time.

No App Store download is required.

Android / Samsung Instructions

For the easiest installation, we recommend using Google Chrome.

  1. Open Google Chrome on your phone.
  2. Go to player.viberadio.co.za.
  3. Tap INSTALL VIBE.PLAYER at the top of Vibe.Player.
  4. Follow the installation prompt on your screen.
  5. If no installation prompt appears, tap the ⋮ menu in Chrome.
  6. Choose Install app, Install and create shortcut, or the similar installation option shown on your phone.
  7. Tap Install.

Once installation is complete, the Vibe.Player icon will appear on your phone’s Home Screen or Apps screen.

From then on, simply tap the Vibe.Player icon to launch YOUR VIBE. You do not need to return to the website each time you want to listen.

Samsung users: We currently recommend installing Vibe.Player through Google Chrome rather than Samsung Internet.

Important: Do not download or save the radio stream as a file. Install Vibe.Player itself using the instructions above.

Apple iPhone / iPad

Use Safari to install Vibe.Player.

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Go to player.viberadio.co.za.
  3. Tap the Share button.
  4. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  5. Make sure Open as Web App is switched on, if that option appears.
  6. Tap Add.

The Vibe.Player icon will now appear on your iPhone or iPad Home Screen.

From then on, simply tap the Vibe.Player icon to open YOUR VIBE — just like any other app. You do not need to visit the website first.

Look for the Vibe.Player icon on your phone’s Home Screen, tap it, press Play, and you’re listening.

Install it once. Open it from your phone whenever you want.
